A career dedicated to sculpture, figurative art, monumental works and cultural heritage.
Arben R. Laze is an Albanian sculptor and visual artist whose artistic and professional career spans sculpture, figurative arts, archaeological restoration and cultural heritage.
After completing his studies in the Figurative Arts, he developed a body of work ranging from intimate sculptural studies to monumental public works.
His work has been recognized in national visual-arts competitions, including the “Onufri” exhibitions. He has also participated in exhibitions abroad and served as a jury member in national arts competitions.
Alongside his studio practice, Laze has contributed professionally to archaeology, restoration and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Laze’s work explores the human figure through both figurative and abstracted forms, moving between portraiture, symbolic compositions and monumental sculpture.
The portfolio below presents a selection of works and archival photographs from his artistic practice.
Archival photographs document the making of large-scale works and the collaborative process behind monumental sculpture.
